My Study β€” Running Watchlist

🌍 Current Events Tracker

A running log of world events worth watching with a prophetic lens β€” filtered by category, not by panic.

Purpose

The goal here is discernment, not alarmism. World events in themselves prove nothing β€” but patterns of events, seen across years and measured against Scripture, can sharpen the watchman's eye. This page is where I track the stories that seem to matter, note what Scripture they connect to (if anything), and resist the temptation to force every headline into a prophetic frame.

Some events will turn out to be nothing. Some will be ordinary news that only felt significant in the moment. A few may end up genuinely significant. Only time and Scripture tell.

πŸ“– The Watchman's Lens
Matthew 24:6 (NASB 1995)
"You will be hearing of wars and rumors of wars. See that you are not frightened, for those things must take place, but that is not yet the end."
Luke 21:28 (NASB 1995)
"But when these things begin to take place, straighten up and lift up your heads, because your redemption is drawing near."
1 Thessalonians 5:6 (NASB 1995)
"So then let us not sleep as others do, but let us be alert and sober."
How to use this page
  1. Add events under the appropriate category below. Don't force-fit β€” if it doesn't cleanly belong to one, put it in General Watchlist.
  2. Include a date (when the event happened, not just when you heard about it).
  3. Write what happened in plain language β€” no speculation yet.
  4. Then, separately, note any Scripture it connects to β€” direct, thematic, or "maybe nothing."
  5. Revisit old entries periodically. Events that looked urgent often fade; events that looked minor sometimes compound. The log itself teaches discernment.
πŸ•Ž Israel & Jerusalem 3 logged
The foundational prerequisite. Every other end-times checklist item depends on Israel being a nation and Jerusalem being a flashpoint (Ezekiel 37, Zechariah 12). This section tracks political, territorial, temple-related, and demographic developments.
Israel Lost Tribe of Manasseh returns to Israel after 27 centuries

The historical context: When King Solomon died around 930 BC, Israel split into two kingdoms β€” the northern kingdom (10 tribes, called "Israel") and the southern kingdom (2 tribes, called "Judah"). In 722 BC, Assyria conquered the northern kingdom and scattered the 10 northern tribes across the empire. They never returned as identifiable groups. These are the "Ten Lost Tribes": Reuben, Simeon, Issachar, Zebulun, Dan, Naphtali, Gad, Asher, Ephraim, and Manasseh. The southern kingdom (Judah, Benjamin, Levi) was exiled to Babylon in 586 BC, returned, and has been a continuous people ever since β€” these are the Jews. The 10 northern tribes, on the other hand, disappeared into history.

What's actually happening: A community in northeast India β€” primarily in the states of Manipur and Mizoram β€” called the Bnei Menashe ("sons of Manasseh") claims descent from the lost tribe of Manasseh, with oral traditions, sabbath-like practices, and naming patterns they argue trace to ancient Israel. In 2005, Israel's Chief Rabbinate formally recognized them as descendants of the lost tribes, and aliyah began. Several thousand have now made the journey. The recent Charisma piece flags the latest wave. In parallel: similar return movements are documented from Ethiopia (Beta Israel), parts of southern Africa (the Lemba), and elsewhere. Since 1948, more than 3.5 million Jews have regathered to Israel from the diaspora.

Why prophecy watchers care: Multiple Old Testament passages promise that in the end times God would gather Israel a second time β€” not just the Jews from Babylon, but the scattered ten tribes too β€” from "the four corners of the earth":

  • Isaiah 11:11 β€” "the Lord will recover the second time with His hand the remnant of His people who will remain... from the four corners of the earth"
  • Ezekiel 37 β€” the dry bones vision, plus the joining of two sticks (Judah + Joseph/Ephraim β†’ one nation again)
  • Jeremiah 31:8 β€” "I am bringing them from the north country, and I will gather them from the remote parts of the earth"

If the Bnei Menashe really are descended from Manasseh, then literally one of the ten lost tribes is returning to Israel after 2,700+ years β€” exactly the pattern Scripture describes for the second regathering.

Honest caveats: DNA studies on the Bnei Menashe have been mixed β€” some show partial Middle Eastern ancestry, others don't, and ancestry is hard to prove that far back. Israel's Chief Rabbinate's recognition is a religious/political decision, not a genetic verdict. And even if they ARE Manasseh, the timing significance β€” does it specifically matter for end-times prophecy now? β€” is interpretive.

But it is documented, ongoing, and at minimum it's a fulfillment of the pattern Scripture describes β€” scattered Israel returning from the corners of the earth. Which is why it earns a slot here.

Israel Hamas memo cites red heifer ceremony as motivation for Oct 7 attack

Why the red heifer matters at all: Numbers 19 lays out a strange ritual β€” a perfectly red cow without blemish, never under a yoke, slaughtered outside the camp, completely burned. Its ashes mixed with water become the only thing that can purify someone who has touched a corpse, and by extension anyone who wants to enter the temple area in a state of ritual purity. The implication is direct: no red heifer ashes = no ritually pure priests = no functioning temple service. Throughout the 2,000 years since the Second Temple's destruction in AD 70, no perfectly red heifer has been successfully sacrificed. The Mishnah lists only nine in all of Jewish history before the temple's fall. So this has been an open prerequisite waiting to be checked off.

The Texas heifer story: In 2022, a rancher in Texas named Byron Stinson β€” working with the Israeli organization Boneh Israel β€” successfully raised five red heifers that met the Numbers 19 criteria. They were flown to Israel in September 2022. This was big news in eschatology circles because it suggested the long-missing prerequisite was suddenly available. (Update: by 2025–2026 several of the original five have been disqualified due to white or black hairs growing in, and the July 2025 Samaria event turned out to be only a rehearsal β€” not the real ceremony. Four remaining heifers are now in a breeding program with "99% pure" genetic material being preserved. The story isn't over.)

Why this matters prophetically: For Christians who read end-times prophecy literally, Third Temple preparations matter because the central end-times scenarios all require a functioning temple:

  • 2 Thessalonians 2:4 β€” the man of lawlessness "takes his seat in the temple of God"
  • Matthew 24:15 (Jesus) β€” "the abomination of desolation standing in the holy place"
  • Daniel 9:27 β€” sacrifices being stopped mid-week, which implies they were restarted first
  • Revelation 11:1–2 β€” John is told to measure "the temple of God"

All of these scenarios require a functioning temple β€” which requires red heifer ashes for ritual purity.

What the Hamas memo reveals: According to recovered internal documents, Hamas's Oct 7, 2023 attack β€” which killed roughly 1,200 Israelis and triggered the Gaza war β€” was motivated in part by the red heifer ceremony preparations. Hamas read the heifer arrivals as Israel attempting to change the religious status quo on the Temple Mount and accelerate Third Temple plans. They believed they were acting to prevent prophetic-end-times Jewish action against the Al-Aqsa Mosque (which currently sits on the Temple Mount where the temple would need to be built).

Why this finding is striking: For decades the standard secular take on Christian prophecy watchers tracking the red heifer was: "this is a fringe Christian curiosity. Reading too much into it." But the Hamas memo confirms that Israel's adversaries take the prophetic signal seriously enough to launch a war over it. Hamas β€” a Sunni Muslim militant organization β€” read the heifer ceremony through essentially the same prophetic frame Christian watchers use, recognized it as a status-quo-shifting move toward the Third Temple, and chose violence to disrupt it. That doesn't prove the prophecy interpretation is correct. But it means the red heifer is no longer just a Christian-publishing curiosity β€” it's a real-world geopolitical lever that drives state and non-state actor behavior.

The cascade: The October 7 attack, the Gaza war, the regional escalation that led to the Hezbollah conflict, and arguably some of the conditions that fed into the 2026 Iran war β€” all of that traces back, at least partially, to a red cow. Worth pausing on that, soberly.

Israel Red heifer reportedly born in the land β€” Galilee birth promoted by the Temple Institute

What's being reported: Prophecy-watcher media (Charisma, citing Mondo Gonzales of Prophecy Watchers) reports that a red heifer was born in Galilee β€” inside Israel itself β€” around late June, and that the Temple Institute publicly promoted the announcement. That second detail is the notable one: the Institute had reportedly kept a low profile on heifer news for the past couple of years, so its choosing to publicize this birth is what drew attention. A calf born in the land is treated by the movement as preferable to the earlier candidates imported from Texas.

Why it connects to the prior entry: This is the same Numbers 19 prerequisite thread already logged above (the Hamas memo entry). The five Texas heifers were all eventually disqualified by white or black hairs; the story had gone quiet. A homegrown calf restarts the clock and puts the red-heifer question back in the news cycle.

Verification note (load-bearing): This is a single-thread, prophecy-media report, not hard news β€” flagged accordingly. And even on its own terms it is a long way from a ceremony. Numbers 19 requires a heifer without blemish that has never borne a yoke and reaches roughly three years of age without a single disqualifying hair; a newborn calf clears none of those bars yet, and the qualifying ceremony has to occur outside the camp (traditionally the Mount of Olives), which has not happened. Logged as "a red calf was born and the Temple Institute promoted it," which is all that is actually established. The prophetic weight stays provisional until a qualified animal and an actual ceremony exist.

Mideast US-Israel war against Iran Β· Ali Khamenei assassinated Β· Mojtaba named successor Β· Hormuz blockade
The single most prophetically significant event sequence of 2026 so far. On Feb 28, 2026, the United States and Israel launched a coordinated air war against Iran, killing supreme leader Ali Khamenei in the opening strikes. After a contested election by the Assembly of Experts (Mar 3–8, reportedly under heavy IRGC pressure), Iran named Khamenei's son Mojtaba Khamenei β€” a 56-year-old mid-ranking cleric with deep IRGC ties and no prior public office β€” as the new Supreme Leader on March 9. Notable: Mojtaba's elevation reverses his father's stated opposition to hereditary succession (which the elder Khamenei viewed as resembling the Shah-era monarchy the 1979 revolution overthrew). The IDF publicly threatened to "pursue every successor and every person who seeks to appoint a successor," and Trump told ABC News any new supreme leader would need US approval "or he's not going to last long." Russia and China both pledged support for Mojtaba's appointment. Iran launched counter-strikes against Israel, US bases in the region, and US-allied Gulf states, then closed the Strait of Hormuz β€” through which roughly 25% of the world's seaborne oil and 20% of global LNG normally pass. After the failure of the Pakistan-mediated Islamabad Talks on April 12, the US imposed its own naval blockade of Iranian ports on April 13. As of April 23, Trump ordered the US Navy to destroy any Iranian boats laying mines in the strait. Iranian forensics report ~3,400 dead inside Iran since strikes began. Crude oil is above $105/barrel. Defense Secretary Hegseth's quote at a Pentagon briefing: "No one sails from the Strait of Hormuz to anywhere in the world without the permission of the United States Navy." This is direct Gog-Magog and Armageddon territory β€” the alliances are configuring in real time, and the economic/military pressure on the region is unprecedented in our lifetime. Watch carefully but soberly: regional war between Israel + the US vs Iran is not by itself the Ezekiel 38 alignment (which has Russia leading and the US absent), but the geopolitical realignment it forces β€” including a Russia-China bloc actively shielding the new Iranian regime β€” could move pieces toward that configuration faster than any peacetime decade would.

Mideast Iran war posture sharpens Β· IDF "series of targets ready" Β· French carrier transits Suez
A discrete data point in the same Iran-war thread, worth flagging on its own because the posture is shifting from blockade-management to potential war-resumption. On May 6, IDF Chief of Staff Lt. Gen. Eyal Zamir, on a visit to southern Lebanon, said the Israeli military has "a series of targets" ready to strike in Iran should the war resume, and that coordination with the US military continues "at all times." On the same day, the French Navy carrier strike group built around the flagship aircraft carrier Charles de Gaulle transited the Suez Canal en route to the southern Red Sea to pre-position for a possible mission to restore navigation in the Strait of Hormuz. Iran's Tasnim news agency reported Tehran has not responded to the latest US proposal, calling some provisions unacceptable. Same-day prophecy-watchers (Beth Ariel and others) are framing the whiplash between war and peace as the kind of cycle that, when it eventually settles, may open the door to renewed Abraham Accords-style negotiations and a regional "peace plan" β€” which pre-trib pre-mil watchers have long flagged as the kind of arrangement that could eventually be co-opted into the Daniel 9:27 seven-year covenant. Honest caveat: that's interpretive scaffolding, not exegesis. The dispensational framework reads "false peace" out of Daniel 9:27, but no specific Trump-era peace plan is identified anywhere in Scripture. Watch the trajectory, not any one announcement.

Mideast "Most intense preparations yet" for renewed Iran strikes Β· Kharg Island and nuclear-extraction options reported
The window of the post-blockade "frozen war" ended this week. Two Middle Eastern officials told The New York Times (relayed via Times of Israel) that Israel and the United States are carrying out their most intense preparations yet to resume the Iran campaign, possibly as soon as the following week. The options under active consideration, per US officials cited in the same report, are unusually specific: a more intense bombing campaign against Iranian military and infrastructure sites; conquering Iran's key oil export hub of Kharg Island in the Persian Gulf; and putting commandos on the Iranian mainland to extract nuclear material buried under rubble at strike sites. On May 12, US Marines were photographed in helicopter-and-roping rehearsal aboard the forward-deployed amphibious assault ship USS Tripoli. Parallel reporting flagged that US officials suspect Iran is behind a hack of fuel-monitoring systems for storage tanks supplying US gas stations in several states β€” taking advantage of online systems that weren't protected by passwords. The blockade-management posture from April has shifted, in other words, to active war-resumption planning. Prophetic lens: not by itself a fulfillment of anything. But "wars and rumors of wars" (Matt 24:6) is a real description of the season we're in, and the specific shift from a managed standoff to commando-extraction planning is the kind of escalation step that, once taken, is hard to reverse. The Daniel 9:27 covenant question hangs over all of this β€” if the war is renewed and ended differently than the first round, whatever framework results will be examined closely by prophecy watchers.

Mideast Trump "a few days" ultimatum Β· Iran reviewing US proposal Β· Pakistan Army chief mediating in Tehran
As of this week, the picture is split-screen. On May 19, Trump said publicly: "I'm saying two or three days β€” maybe Friday, Saturday, Sunday, maybe early next week β€” a limited period of time." He continued: "I hope we don't have to do the war, but we may have to give them another big hit… I'm not sure yet, you'll know very soon." Vice President JD Vance said the administration prefers a diplomatic solution but is prepared to resume the war. On the Iranian side, Tehran's latest peace proposal β€” confirmed by Deputy Foreign Minister Kazem Gharibabadi via IRNA β€” demands an end to hostilities on all fronts (including Lebanon), withdrawal of US forces from areas near Iran, reparations for war damage, lifting of sanctions, release of frozen funds, and an end to the US naval blockade. Pakistan's Army Chief Asim Munir traveled to Tehran on May 21 as the principal mediator carrying a new US message. On May 21, Iran's Foreign Ministry spokesperson Esmaeil Baghaei said the Islamic Republic had received the US views "and are reviewing them." Brent crude was up 1.9% to $106.92/bbl during London trading; both Brent and WTI are up roughly 45% since the war began on Feb 28. Oil markets are pricing this as unresolved. Prophetic lens: the through-line worth holding is structural, not predictive. The cycle of war β†’ ultimatum β†’ mediated talks β†’ ceasefire β†’ broken ceasefire β†’ ultimatum is itself a description of "peace and safety" rhetoric (1 Thess 5:3) being repeatedly proposed in the absence of underlying resolution. Pre-trib pre-mil watchers have long flagged that any eventual settlement that involves Israel, multi-nation enforcement, and a defined timeframe deserves scrutiny against Daniel 9:27 β€” but the current proposals don't yet match the prophetic shape. Watch the architecture of whatever finally holds, not the press conferences leading to it.

Mideast Iran war ends on paper: faltering June ceasefire β†’ US–Iran memorandum signed at Versailles β†’ contested Lebanon framework
The split-screen of the May entries resolved this month — but messily, and not into anything clean. The early-April ceasefire had held loosely through May while the two sides sparred over Strait of Hormuz access. Then on June 7–8 it broke into the worst exchange in months: Iran launched its first strike on Israel in weeks after Israeli attacks on the southern suburbs of Beirut, Israel retaliated against Iranian sites including the Mahshahr petrochemical complex, and Israel was reportedly preparing a major strike on Tehran when Trump phoned Netanyahu twice and pressed him to stand down. The intervention held. From there the diplomacy moved fast: on June 14 Pakistan's prime minister Shehbaz Sharif announced that the US and Iran had finalized a 14-point memorandum of understanding, and Trump lifted the US naval blockade of Iranian ports. On June 17 Trump and Iranian president Masoud Pezeshkian signed the memorandum — over dinner with Macron at Versailles after the G7 — with the stated aim of formally ending the war within 60 days, Trump adding that he would "go right back to dropping bombs" if he disliked the result. On June 19 a renewed Israel–Hezbollah ceasefire was announced. But the seams show: a June 26 US–Israel–Lebanon trilateral framework signed in Washington is, according to both Iran and Hezbollah, in tension with the 14-point MOU, and Netanyahu has said the IDF will hold a security zone inside Lebanon until Hezbollah disarms. As of today (June 30) US and Iran delegations are meeting in Doha, having paused strikes but disagreeing on next steps, with Iran still insisting it will oversee Hormuz traffic and Iranian attacks on Kuwait and Bahrain reported over the prior weekend. Prophetic lens: the prior three entries kept saying "watch the architecture of whatever finally holds, not the press conferences." This is that architecture arriving — a signed, time-bound (60-day) settlement, brokered by multiple nations, involving Israel on the Lebanon front. That is exactly the shape pre-trib pre-mil watchers examine against Daniel 9:27. Honest caveat, and it is the whole point: a US–Iran war-termination memorandum brokered by Pakistan is NOT the Daniel 9:27 covenant. That covenant is made "with the many" for one prophetic week (seven years), is centered on Israel, and is tied to the stopping of temple sacrifice at its midpoint. This is a ceasefire-and-reconstruction deal between Washington and Tehran with a 60-day horizon — different parties, different scope, different timeframe, no temple dimension. What is legitimately worth logging is the pattern: a brokered Middle East peace framework forming under a US president, which is the kind of arrangement that could later be built upon. The identification with the prophesied covenant is not warranted by anything in the text. Notice it; do not date it.

The Gog-Magog alliance context (Ezekiel 38). Per the Prophecy Checklist, Russia-Iran alignment is already classified as "Nearly Finished." This section watches for specific military, economic, or diplomatic confirmations that tighten that alliance.
Russia/China China and Russia veto UN resolution on Strait of Hormuz
On April 7, 2026, China and Russia jointly vetoed a Bahraini-drafted UN Security Council resolution that would have called for an end to Iranian attacks on Hormuz shipping and authorized states to coordinate defensively (including escorts for ships). The UK and US backed the resolution; China and Russia blocked it. This is a concrete diplomatic data point for the Russia-Iran-China alignment tracker. Ezekiel 38 describes a coalition led by "Gog of the land of Magog" with allies including Persia (Iran) β€” a Russia-Iran-China bloc actively shielding Iran at the UN against the West is exactly the kind of geopolitical scaffolding that has to be in place before that prophecy could play out. Worth noting the asymmetry: Russia and China don't have to agree on everything to lock in this alignment β€” they just have to keep voting together against Western pressure on Iran.

πŸ’° Economy & Global Systems 1 logged
Financial, monetary, and control-system developments relevant to Antichrist (Module 7) and Revelation 13 (mark of the beast / buy-sell control). Be cautious here β€” every generation since the printing press has thought its payment system was prophetic. The goal is to notice, not to predict.
Economy Hormuz oil shock — "largest supply disruption in history," then a Q2 collapse as the war wound down
The 2026 Iran war ran straight through the world's most important oil chokepoint, and the numbers were historic. With roughly a quarter of the world's seaborne oil and about a fifth of its LNG normally moving through the Strait of Hormuz, the near-total halt of traffic produced what the International Energy Agency called the largest supply disruption in the history of the global oil market — its director describing it as the greatest threat to global energy security in history. Brent crude jumped on the order of 65% in March (its largest monthly rise on record) toward roughly $120, US gasoline rose more than a dollar a gallon, and fertilizer and food-security alarms spread because Gulf producers supply a large share of the world's urea. Then the direction reversed almost as violently: as the June memorandum took shape and Hormuz began reopening, crude crashed back toward $70 — about a 30% drop on the quarter, the steepest quarterly decline since 2020. Inside Iran the human cost showed up in prices, with inflation reaching 88.6% year-on-year in June. Prophetic lens — with the section's own warning attached: this belongs here as "global systems under stress," NOT as mark-of-the-beast machinery. An oil-supply shock is not a buy/sell control system; nothing here touches Revelation 13:17. The honest scriptural texture is the third seal's economic scarcity (Revelation 6:5–6) and the general "famines" of Matthew 24:7 — the world's food and fuel swinging hard on one waterway. The sober, logged takeaway is simply how fast a single chokepoint can move the entire global economy in both directions. That is worth noticing precisely because the day-to-day payment system did not change — the vulnerability was physical and geographic, not yet anything resembling the centralized economic control the section intro cautions us not to over-read.

AI John Lennox releases God, AI and the End of History
Oxford mathematician and Christian apologist John Lennox published a 600-page commentary on Revelation read through the lens of artificial intelligence. Unlike most AI-and-prophecy books, Lennox writes as a working mathematician with serious technical literacy, not as a prophecy-circuit speaker. His core argument is that a supernatural power opposed to God may be using advanced AI to drive a transhumanist vision of "upgraded humans," and that future AI developments could enable deception on a scale Scripture associates with the Antichrist. The book treats AI not primarily as a weapon but as a religion β€” a counterfeit path to immortality and godhood (Genesis 3:5 at industrial scale). His third AI book, after 2084 (2020) and the 2084 updated edition (2024), but the first to engage Revelation directly.

AI Chuck Pierce 2026 prophetic word β€” AI as a "spiritual crossroads"
In a Charisma Magazine feature, Chuck Pierce framed AI as one of the defining spiritual issues of 2026. He warned against passive surrender to "the robotic influence of artificial intelligence," presenting two paths: turning life over to AI by default, or rising into discernment and creativity. He paired this with a "Hezekiah, extend time" word β€” a five-year spiritual battle beginning around 2026, with what he described as a limited extension of mercy rather than immediate judgment. Notably, Pierce identified economics (not politics alone) as the central battleground β€” which lines up with the Revelation 13 mark-of-the-beast economic-control thread already on the watchlist. Caveat: this is a prophetic-word category source, not a systematic exposition. Useful as a watchman's prompt; weigh against Scripture, not the other way around.

Charisma Magazine published a feature framing the increasingly mainstream UFO/UAP conversation β€” congressional hearings on unidentified aerial phenomena, viral testimony of alleged encounters β€” as potentially relevant to the "days of Noah" prophecy of Matthew 24:37 and the Genesis 6 sons-of-God / Nephilim narrative. The interpretive question being raised: are the entities reported in modern UAP encounters genuinely extraterrestrial (the secular framing), genuinely interdimensional or demonic (the Genesis 6 framing), or psychological/technological misidentification? The article doesn't resolve this β€” and neither should we β€” but it's notable that what was confined to fringe Christian publishing a decade ago is now in the same outlets that cover prophetic-word ministries. This connects directly to the Theme 3 M4 build (Days of Noah, Matt 24:36–44) when that module ships. Caveat: high speculation density on this topic; treat as discernment-warning rather than confirmed prophetic data point.

β›ͺ Church & Apostasy Watch 1 logged
Doctrinal drift, apostasy markers, false prophecy claims, persecution of Bible-faithful churches β€” all relevant to False Prophets (Module 11) and 2 Timothy 3. This is the hardest category to be fair in, because disagreement β‰  apostasy. Stay charitable, stay scriptural.
Persecution World Watch List 2026 hits a record — ~388 million Christians under high persecution
Two well-sourced reports this year quantify a trend the New Testament treats as expected. Open Doors' World Watch List 2026 puts roughly 388 million Christians — about one in seven worldwide — under high levels of persecution or discrimination, an increase of about 8 million over the prior year, with the top-50 total reaching the highest score the list has ever recorded. It counted thousands of faith-related killings (Nigeria accounting for the large majority), logged Syria's sharp jump up the rankings after the fall of the Assad regime and the rise of a jihadist government, and notes North Korea as the single hardest place to follow Christ for the 24th consecutive year. Separately, a Pew Research analysis found Christians were harassed in 165 countries — the most widely targeted religious group on the planet. Honest framing — this section is the easiest to be unfair in: note carefully that this entry is persecution data, not apostasy data. The section covers both, but they are different things, and disagreement is not apostasy. What is logged here is hard, externally documented suffering, not a verdict on anyone's doctrine. Scripture is plain that hostility toward the faithful is normal and tends to intensify (Matthew 24:9; 2 Timothy 3:12; John 15:20), and the martyrs under the altar are part of the end-times picture (Revelation 6:9–11) — but the right response to numbers like these is prayer and remembrance of those in chains (Hebrews 13:3), not date-setting. Logged soberly, as a call to intercede.
