Theme 2 — Biblical Calendar & Prophecy

God's Calendar: Why It Matters for Prophecy

"He made the moon to mark the seasons; the sun knows its time for setting." — Psalm 104:19

Most of us take the calendar for granted — but the question of how to mark time has been one of the most contested issues in Jewish history. At its heart, the calendar debate is a theological one: who has the authority to define God's holy days, and by what method?

This theme traces that question from creation through the Dead Sea Scrolls, through the Essene community, and into the end-times timeline. Whether we use a 360-day prophetic year, a 364-day Jubilees calendar, or a lunar-based rabbinic calendar fundamentally shapes how we read Daniel, Revelation, and the Feasts of Israel.
