The Second Coming of Jesus Christ is the climax of all prophetic Scripture. He returns visibly, physically, and in glory to defeat the Antichrist, save Israel, establish His kingdom, and ultimately usher in the New Heaven and New Earth.

The Practical Posture of the Watchman-Believer
WATCH — Pay attention to what God is doing in the world. Study prophecy. Notice the signs.
WARN — Live and speak as one who knows time is short. Not with anxiety — with urgency and love.
WORK — "Occupy until I come." Do not disengage from life, family, or calling because Christ is returning.
WORSHIP — Let the certainty of Christ's return drive you to deeper awe. Maranatha — Come, Lord Jesus.
WAIT with hope — Hold what is temporal loosely. Hold what is eternal with both hands.
"He who testifies to these things says, 'Yes, I am coming quickly.'"
"Amen. Come, Lord Jesus." — Revelation 22:20
🙏 Reflection & Prayer
2 Peter 3:11 asks: "What sort of people ought you to be in holy conduct and godliness" given that everything will be destroyed? How am I living differently because I know how this story ends?
1 John 3:2–3 says that everyone who has the hope of seeing Christ will purify themselves. Is that hope actually motivating holiness in my life right now?
Revelation 21:4 — "No more death, mourning, crying, or pain." What specific grief or pain in your life do you most long to have wiped away by God's own hand?
Maranatha — Come, Lord Jesus. Say it and mean it. What in my life makes it hard to genuinely long for His return?

• Acts 1:11 — Angels confirm Jesus will return "in just the same way" He ascended — from the Mount of Olives
• Zechariah 14:4 — "His feet will stand on the Mount of Olives... and the Mount of Olives will be split in its middle from east to west" — a geological fault line running exactly east-west was discovered beneath the mount in 1964
• Ezekiel 44:2 — The East Gate is to remain shut until the Lord enters through it — Sultan Suleiman bricked it up in 1517 trying to prevent the prophecy, and in doing so may have fulfilled it
